Single-Zone Ductless Systems allow for flexibile installations. A single-zone, or mini-split, ductless system allows
you to control the temperature of one room by connecting an outdoor unit to an indoor unit, with no ductwork
needed. An outdoor mini-split unit is placed outside your home and is connected to an indoor mini-split unit by
small cables and a refrigerant line through a hole in the wall.
Multi-Zone Ductless Systems, or multi-split, ductless systems connects an outdoor unit to one or more indoor
units, letting you control the temperature in several different zones of your home. Variable Refrigerant Flow
(VRF) systems are a type of multi-zone ductless systems. VRF systems are energy efficient, and they can be used
to heat one zone while cooling a different zone at the same time.
Packaged Over/Under Heat Pumps offer a “stacked” supply and return configuration unique to many existing
Ameristar furnaces can heat your home with either natural gas or propane. In summer, your furnace also works
with your outdoor system to circulate cool air, helping you stay comfortable all year long.
Unlike an air conditioner or heat pump that heats or cools air, an air handler, part of your ventilation system,
conditions and circulates that air throughout your home. Ameristar air handlers’ flexible design provides proper
fitting and minimizes the need for invasive customization at an affordable price.
When a home has no access to natural gas, a heat pump can be a heating solution. Heat pumps reliably and efficiently
provide heating and cooling. A heat pump works by moving heat from outside to indoor spaces and vice
versa. To warm your home when it’s cold outside, the heat pump will extract outside heat and transfer it inside.
To cool your home when it’s hot outside, it will reverse this process to remove indoor heat.
The quality of your air is just as important as the temperature. Clean indoor air with Trane CleanEffects™ . This
air cleaner supplies your home with a cleaner, healthier environment, allowing you to breathe easier by removing
up to 99.98% of airborne particles. Add a Trane Perfect Fit™ reusable air filter to trap more dust, pollen and bacteria
and make your air the best it can be. Add a humidifier to provide the right amount of moisture to the air,
which can alleviate allergy symptoms. Ensure indoor air quality with Trane FreshEffects™. This ventilator exhausts
stale indoor air and brings in fresh, preconditioned, outdoor air, to decrease the level of odors, chemical vapors
and naturally occurring gases so your home can be a more enjoyable place to live.
Natural gas furnaces convert gas to heat. These furnaces are a popular choice for most modern homes with central
heating and air conditioning. Gas furnaces can only be used if you have a gas line hooked up to your home.
Warm your home, lower your bills and enjoy your winter with a Trane furnace.
Geothermal systems use temperatures beneath the earth’s surface to heat and cool your home, . The renewable
energy deep inside the earth delivers a limitless supply of consistent heat and comfort to your home. You can
reduce your carbon footprint and increase your energy savings with a sustainable geothermal system. Trane
Packaged Geothermal Systems use electricity to access the temperatures found in the earth. Fluid travels through
the earth and through a coil that either absorbs or dissipates the heat, depending on the season. Trane Water to
Water Geothermal Systems efficiently heat and cool your home by circulating fluid underground and transferring
heat to another fluid loop built into your home. Split Geothermal Systems are good for home applications with
limited installation space. These systems use a ground loop connected to a refrigerant loop to absorb or dissipate
A coil is important to your home’s heating or cooling system because it removes humidity and cools the air that
passes over it to cool the air throughout your home. Ameristar coils’ unique design effectively exchanges heat
and maximizes the efficiency of your other components.
Cool off and relax this summer, don’t sweat the heat. Trane air conditioning systems cool your living and work
spaces. These efficent A/Cs provide indoor comfort and peace-of-mind to your energy bill worries.
An evaporator coil or indoor coil, is an important piece of your heating or cooling system. The Comfort Coil
is all-aluminum and is designed to work with your outdoor condensing unit or furnace. This coil is matched
in size, efficiency and capacity to optimize performance of your home comfort system. The coil serves as a heat
exchanger by working with your heating system in the winter and your cooling system in the summer.
Cool your home in the summer and warm it in the winter. Heat pumps draw temperature from the air or ground
to provide efficient, year-round comfort regardless of your climate.
Inexpensively keep your home cool. Ameristar air conditioning units provide quiet, effective cooling through the
height of summer.
Connected Controls: Get simple, precise temperature control with our manual and programmable thermostats.
Thermostat Controls: Our easy-to-program thermostats are designed to help you make the most out of your heating
and cooling system. Some of our controls are the foundation units for our whole house automation systems.
Air handling unit, also called an AHU, is the indoor part of your heating and cooling system. Depending on the
season, air handlers circulate both cool and hot air. When matching an AHU with a heat pump or air conditioner,
it will help you maximize the overall efficiency of your HVAC system at home or work.
Gas electric packaged systems provide air conditioning combined with heating from a gas furnace. During warm
seasons, the system functions as an all-electric, high efficiency air conditioner. In colder seasons, it provides heat
from natural gas or propane.
